Understanding how students interact with your course helps you improve content and measure success. This guide covers all analytics features available in Caring CourseForge.

Analytics Dashboard

Accessing Analytics

  1. Open your course
  2. Click "Analytics" in the top toolbar
  3. View dashboard with key metrics

Dashboard Overview

The analytics dashboard displays:

Enrollment Metrics

  • Total enrolled students
  • Active students (last 7 days)
  • New enrollments this week
  • Enrollment trend over time

Completion Metrics

  • Course completion rate
  • Average completion time
  • Students in progress
  • Dropped students

Engagement Metrics

  • Average time spent per lesson
  • Most/least viewed lessons
  • Quiz attempt rates
  • Discussion participation

Track each student's journey through your course:

What You Can See:

  • Completion Status: Which lessons completed, which in progress
  • Time Spent: Total and per-lesson time investment
  • Quiz Scores: All attempts with timestamps
  • Last Activity: When they last accessed the course
  • Progress Percentage: Overall course completion

Filtering and Sorting

  • Filter by completion status (completed, in progress, not started, dropped)
