Course Editor

Master the powerful course editor with drag-and-drop functionality and real-time preview

The course editor is your primary workspace for creating and organizing course content. This guide covers all features and shortcuts to help you work efficiently.

Working with Modules

Creating Modules

  1. Click "+ Add Module" in the sidebar
  2. Enter module name and description
  3. Set estimated duration (optional)
  4. Click "Create"

Module Actions

Right-click any module or use the three-dot menu to:

  • Edit: Change name, description, or settings
  • Duplicate: Create a copy with all lessons
  • Move: Reorder by dragging or using arrows
  • Delete: Remove module and all its lessons

Deleting Modules:

Deleting a module removes all lessons inside it. This action cannot be undone. Consider exporting a backup first.

Working with Lessons

Creating Lessons

  1. Expand the target module
  2. Click "+ Add Lesson"
  3. Enter lesson title
  4. Add description and learning objectives
  5. Click "Create"

Reordering Content

Easily reorganize your course structure:

  • Modules: Drag to reorder in the sidebar
  • Lessons: Drag within or between modules
  • Content Blocks: Drag to reorder within a lesson

  • Hold shift while dragging to copy instead of move
  • Drop zones highlight in blue when dragging
  • Undo any drag operation with Cmd/Ctrl + Z

Automatic Saving

Your work is automatically saved:

  • Changes save every 30 seconds
  • Manual save with Cmd/Ctrl + S

Version History

Access previous versions of your course:

  1. Click "History" in the toolbar
  2. Browse chronological list of changes
  3. Preview any previous version
  4. Restore a version if needed
