Create Your First Course in 5 Minutes
This guide will walk you through creating a complete course from scratch. By the end, you'll have a published course ready for students.
Prerequisites
- A Caring CourseForge account (free tier works fine)
- A basic idea of what you want to teach

Create Your Account
If you haven't already, create your free Caring CourseForge account.
- Go to the sign up page
- Enter your email and create a password
- Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox
- Complete your profile (name, organization, etc.)

Tip:Use your work email if you're creating courses for your organization. This makes it easier to collaborate with teammates later.

Create a New Course
Now let's create your first course.
- From your dashboard, click the "New Course" button
- Enter a course title (e.g., "Introduction to Web Development")
- Add a brief description of what students will learn
- Select a difficulty level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced)
- Click "Create Course"

Title: Introduction to JavaScript
Description: Learn JavaScript fundamentals including variables, functions, and DOM manipulation
Level: Beginner

Add Course Content
Use AI to generate your course structure, or build it manually.
AI-Assisted (Recommended)
- Click "Generate with AI"
- Enter learning objectives
- Review generated structure
- Make any adjustments
Manual Creation
- Click "Add Module"
- Name your module
- Add lessons to module
- Add content blocks

Pro Tip:Start with AI generation to get a solid structure, then customize it to match your teaching style.

Preview Your Course
Before publishing, preview your course to see how students will experience it.
- Click the "Preview" button in the top right
- Navigate through your course as a student would
- Check formatting, images, and videos
- Test any quizzes or interactive elements
- Make any final adjustments in the editor

Publish Your Course
You're ready to publish! Make your course available to students.
- Click "Publish Course"
- Choose your publishing options (public, private, or password-protected)
- Set enrollment options if needed
- Click "Confirm & Publish"
Congratulations! 🎉
Your course is now live! Share the link with your students or export it to your LMS.
