Troubleshooting

Videos Don't Play

Solution: Ensure videos are in MP4 format. For large videos, host externally (YouTube, Vimeo) and embed by URL instead of uploading directly.

LMS Doesn't Recognize Package

Solution: Try SCORM 1.2 instead of 2004. Ensure ZIP file wasn't modified. Check LMS file size limits.

Progress Not Tracking

Solution: Verify completion criteria settings. Check LMS tracking configuration. Test with SCORM Cloud to isolate issues.

Package Too Large

Solution: Compress images, host large videos externally, split into multiple smaller packages, or use HTML package with external hosting.

Best Practices

✓
Export Guidelines:
  • Test exports thoroughly before distribution
  • Keep package sizes under 500MB for best LMS compatibility
  • Use version numbers in export file names
  • Maintain export backups for archival purposes
  • Update exports when making significant course changes
  • Document which export version is deployed where
